Open Day frequently asked questions
Although it is not essential, we encourage you to book in advance to join us on the open day as our building has a limited capacity and we cannot guarantee we can accommodate walk-in’s.
There are two available time slots to book onto:
- 10:00am-11:00am
- 11:00am-12:00pm
These slots are designed to help manage the flow of visitors around the building and ensure we do not exceed capacity. However, you’re welcome to stay on after your time slot and enjoy refreshments, games and visiting our stalls until the hospice closes to the public at 1:30pm
There will be:
- A self-guided tour of the hospice. This will include stops at our Hydrotherapy pool, sensory room, music therapy and counselling rooms, and tranquil suite.
- Demonstrations from our Family Support team, showcasing the incredible work that they do.
- The opportunity to speak to our wonderful Fundraising, Volunteering and Retail teams.
- Stalls where you can find out more about our fundraising work, volunteering opportunities, and our shops.
- A donation station, where we invite you to gift one lovely item to support our shops.
- Meet one of our therapy dogs.
- Fun games and activities for all ages.
- Tea, coffee, and cake… and candy floss!
