Six Children’s Hospices. One Amazing Adventure

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices are thrilled to be part of a brand new unique collaboration, as six leading children’s charities come together to offer you the chance to take on the adventure of a lifetime.

We’ve joined forces with Acorns Children’s Hospice, Children’s Hospice South West, Demelza, Helen & Douglas House and Naomi House & Jacksplace to offer you the chance to take on a fantastic four-day trek through the Indian Himalayas next October.

By working together to bring you this amazing challenge we hope to:

  • Provide a bigger platform for you to fundraise to support our vital work
  • Raise awareness of hospice care for children and young adults across the country
  • Build a sense of shared community between supporters of each hospice
  • Share expertise to enhance care for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions and their families

From the bustling streets of Delhi to the lush green forests and snow capped peaks of the Himalayas you will experience a full range of sights, sounds and tastes in your adventure. To learn more please join us at our virtual Information Evening.

Costs

Registration fee: £395 (Use discount code: JOINT50 for £50 off until 30 June 2025)

Sponsorship: £3990 or Flexi: £2205 trip costs* and £1785 sponsorship for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices

Sponsorship 

This option is for those who wish to raise sponsorship to cover both the costs of the trip (flights, accommodation, food, guides etc.) and a donation to the charity. There is a minimum sponsorship amount for each trip that you are required to raise in order to participate.

  • A registration fee is payable at the time of booking.
  • A total of £3,192 (80%) must be paid to the charity by 11 July 2026
  • The remaining £798 must be raised by the date of departure.

 

Flexi

This option is for those who choose to pay the trip costs* (flights, accommodation, food, guides etc.) themselves while still raising some funds for the charity.

  • A registration fee is payable at the time of booking.
  • Trip cost* balance is payable to Different Travel no later than 24 July 2026.
  • Any fundraising undertaken cannot be used for your trip costs.80% of your fundraising is due to the charity by 11 July 2026. The remaining 20% is due by the date of departure.

*Please note trip costs are based on the final group size and are subject to change. This is the most you will be required to pay.
